Everything listed on Circular meets our community standards - clean, wearable, and honestly described. No mystery stains, no bad vibes. If a piece has light wear or marks, sellers are expected to call it out clearly in the photos or description, so you always know exactly what you’re getting.

- Very Good: This item shows no major flaws and has been gently worn. Any wear is minimal, such as light fading, pilling, or minor surface scratches on hardware. It remains in very good overall condition.
- Good: This item has been worn and remains in good condition. Signs of wear, such as moderate fading, pilling, or small stains, may be visible but do not affect functionality or overall wearability.
- Acceptable: Heavily discounted due to noticeable wear. This item remains functional but may have visible flaws such as staining, fading, or small holes. Priced accordingly.
SELLERS & LISTINGS

Only approved sellers - trusted resellers, vintage stores, stylists, and creators with verified wardrobes.

Every seller goes through an application and review process before going live. We check for authenticity, quality, consistency, and overall vibe - including what they sell, how they present it, and how they communicate. Only sellers who meet our standards (and actually get our aesthetic) make it onto Circular.

You can absolutely apply - but fair warning, most applications don’t get approved (no hard feelings). We’re building a community of sellers who live and breathe sustainability - people who care about conscious fashion, engage with their audience, and bring good energy to the circular economy. If that sounds like you, we’d love to have you.

Yes - we love working with small businesses, vintage stores, and second-hand specialists who share our circular ethos. If you’re a boutique, reseller, charity, or brand with excess or end-of-season stock that deserves a second life, you’re welcome here. An ABN isn’t required, but if you have one, add it to your seller profile. What matters most is that your items align with our community values - sustainability, authenticity, and good vibes only.

No counterfeits or fake branded items, ever. “Inspired by” pieces must be listed under Other with clear disclosure (don’t use the imitation brand name).

Yep. Tags don’t define good style.
If it’s quality, clean, and fits the Circular energy, we’re all for it.

Yes. Include clear shots of front, back, close-ups of details/wear, brand tag, materials tag, and any unique features.

Whenever possible. Chest/pit-to-pit, waist, rise, inseam, length, sleeve, etc. Listings with measurements sell faster and reduce returns.
Pro tip: snap a few quick photos while measuring your item - buyers love seeing exactly how you got the numbers, and it helps speed up your listing!

Seller Dashboard → Add Listing → upload photos → fill in brand, category, size, condition, description, price, and shipping info → publish.

New With Tag, New Without Tag, Very Good, Good, Acceptable - pick the most accurate one and note any flaws transparently.

Price based on brand, condition, and current demand. Circular takes a 10% commission per sale. We encourage fair, realistic pricing that keeps things moving – buyers come here for great pieces and great value.
If you’re listing higher-end items, remember resale value rarely equals retail – the goal is to keep clothes circulating, not collecting dust.
Pro tip: Show the estimated RRP so buyers can see the savings. Most everyday pieces should sit around 60% off retail, while vintage, collectible, or high-demand pieces can go for more.And don’t inflate shipping to dodge fees - it’s against our Terms and kills buyer trust.Another pro tip: Time your listings. Coats move faster in winter, dresses in summer - seasonality makes all the difference.

Yes - you can edit or remove your listing anytime before it sells.
If you want to adjust pricing, use a markdown instead of a full price change - it helps your item appear in our markdown catalogue and keeps things consistent for buyers.

Yes - you can list your items elsewhere too. Just make sure to remove the item from Circular as soon as it sells elsewhere to avoid double-selling or disappointing buyers.
We’re also working on ways for sellers to sync their own store listings into Circular - so managing stock across platforms will get even easier in the future.

Good lighting and clean backgrounds make all the difference - natural light, neutral surfaces, and on-body or flat-lay photos work best.
Use clear titles, relevant keywords, and honest descriptions. Add measurements whenever possible to help buyers feel confident hitting “add to cart.”

Yep - you’ll get a Seller Dashboard to manage orders, payouts, and listings in one place.
We’re also exploring ways to surface more insights (like product views and performance) over time, so you can see what’s really working.

Each seller is responsible for shipping their own orders using tracked delivery. Once shipped, they’ll upload the tracking number in their Seller Dashboard so buyers automatically receive tracking updates by email.

You’ll get a notification to ship - yay! Pack it securely, send it off on time, and upload the tracking in your Seller Dashboard to mark it as shipped. Buyers automatically get tracking updates once it’s on the way.

Make sure you’ve uploaded valid tracking. If there’s an issue, funds may be held until it’s resolved. Proof of tracked delivery is your best friend here.

Payouts are released once delivery is confirmed (or the delivery window passes without dispute). Payments are sent via Stripe Connect or PayPal to your nominated account.

Funds will be temporarily held while we review tracking, messages, and photos shared through the platform. Keep all communication inside Circular so we can help resolve it smoothly.

Orders can’t be cancelled once they’ve been placed and paid for - buyers expect reliability.
If something goes wrong (like an item being damaged or unavailable), you’ll need to contact your buyer through the platform and request assistance from Circular Support to resolve it.
Frequent cancellations or refund requests may affect your seller rating and account standing.

We may edit, hide, or remove listings that go against our guidelines. Repeated or serious breaches can lead to suspension - keep it authentic, respectful, and on-brand.

PAYMENTS, CHECKOUT & AFTERPAY

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, UnionPay, PayPal, Shop Pay, Google Pay, Apple Pay, AfterPay (selected sellers) and Circular gift cards.

Yes - all prices are displayed in Australian dollars (AUD).

Nope. Payments are handled securely through Stripe Connect and PayPal.

Yes! Gift cards and store credit work across all listings - sellers still get their full payout.

No. Any platform-wide promotions are funded by Circular, not sellers.

Not yet. Afterpay is available only on selected sellers who’ve opted in. You’ll see it as a payment option at checkout when supported.

Once your Afterpay account is set up, simply select Afterpay at checkout when shopping on Circular (for listings where it’s available). You’ll be redirected to log in and confirm your payment schedule before completing your order.

If you miss a payment, Afterpay may pause your account until it’s up to date. Late fees can apply, and your spending limit might be reduced.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Each seller ships their own items directly to you - you’ll receive separate tracking details for each one.

Yep! You can check out from multiple sellers in one go - just note that each seller ships separately, so you’ll get multiple packages and tracking numbers.

Usually 1-3 business days to dispatch plus courier time. Each seller sets their own handling time. Processing times may be longer during peak periods such as holiday seasons, major sales events (e.g., Black Friday), or restocks.

Yes! Tracking details are automatically sent to your email once the seller marks your order as dispatched.

No - orders can’t be cancelled once payment is confirmed. Please double-check your details before completing the checkout.

RETURNS & DISPUTES

All marketplace sales are final unless:
- The wrong item arrives, or
- It’s significantly misrepresented in the listing.

You have 48 hours after delivery to raise a dispute if there’s an issue with your order. After that, the sale is considered final and payouts will be released to the seller.

Go to the Help Centre and submit details with photos. We’ll review within 3 business days.

Funds are held until the issue is resolved. If approved, you’ll receive a refund or store credit.

That depends on the dispute outcome - usually the seller if they’re at fault.
REVIEWS & RATINGS

After delivery, you can rate the seller (1–5 stars) and leave feedback visible on their profile.

Not yet - only buyers can leave reviews for now. Seller ratings for buyers may be added in the future.

Buyers can’t edit reviews themselves, but if you’d like to correct or remove feedback, email hello@circularclothingco.com.au.
Our team can review it and make updates or remove it if appropriate under our moderation guidelines.
TAXES & FEES

Yes - all prices shown are final and include any applicable GST. Individual sellers are responsible for managing and reporting their own tax obligations.

Yes. Sellers are fully responsible for declaring their income and charging GST if registered. Circular only collects GST on our 10% commission, not the total sale price.

An ABN isn’t required to sell on Circular, but if you have one, you should include it in your seller profile.
If you’re registered for GST, you’re responsible for charging and remitting it on your sales. If you’re not registered, your prices should simply reflect the total amount you’ll receive — no extra tax needs to be added.

Possibly. International buyers may be charged customs duties or import taxes depending on local regulations. These costs are the buyer’s responsibility.
BUYING EXPERIENCE

Most listings include key measurements - compare them to your own for the best fit. You can also check the seller’s description for fit notes or fabric stretch. If measurements aren’t listed, feel free to message the seller and ask before purchasing.

Nope. For safety (and insurance reasons), all sales happen online only.

Yes - message the seller directly through the platform to ask for more pics. Sellers aren’t required to provide them, but most will if they can.

Absolutely - hit the heart to save your faves. Tip: sign in so your wishlist sticks across devices (without an account, it may only save on that browser and could disappear if cookies are cleared).

Cart doesn’t reserve items - checkout fast to secure your find.

Yes, tap ‘Make an Offer]. Offers are non-binding until the seller accepts. Sellers can accept, decline, or counter; once accepted, you’ll get a checkout to complete payment within the stated window (unpaid offers may be cancelled).

Sometimes! We run sitewide or seller-opt-in promos (funded by Circular, not deducted from seller payouts). Individual sellers can also run their own discounts on their listings.
