How to Sell Your Clothes Online in Australia (Without the Hassle)

Selling clothes online sounds simple—until you're photographing twenty items, answering "is this available?" and negotiating over a dress you just want out of your wardrobe.

Circular Clothing Co. takes the selling off your hands. Send us your eligible clothes, and we handle the work of getting accepted items ready for their next owner.

Choose How Much Work You Want to Take On

Platforms like Facebook Marketplace, Depop and eBay let you sell directly to buyers. You create the listings, manage enquiries and arrange postage or collection.

That can work well if you have the time and enjoy the process. But if your "sell" pile has been sitting in the corner for months, consignment offers another way.

With Circular, you send your items to us rather than managing individual listings yourself.

How Selling with Circular Works

1. Start with a Clean-Out

Choose clothes you no longer wear that are clean, in great condition and meet our current acceptance guidelines.

Visit our Sell With Us page to review eligibility, fees and payout rates before ordering your Clean-Out Kit.

2. Pack and Send Your Items

Use your own suitable packaging and follow the instructions provided with your kit. Check the current postage arrangements before sending.

3. We Assess and Prepare Them for Sale

Our team assesses your items for suitability. For accepted pieces, we handle pricing, photography and listing.

Not everything sent in will be accepted. Brand, condition, demand and expected resale value all play a part.

4. We Handle the Order

When an item sells, we handle packing and dispatch to the buyer. You don't need to organise individual parcels or coordinate pickups.

5. You Earn from What Sells

You receive a share of the sale price under our current consignment terms. Your earnings depend on the selling price, applicable payout rate and fees.

Check the current terms for payout timing and the options for unaccepted or unsold items.

What Can You Send?

Think about the pieces someone else would be pleased to find: clothes in great condition that still have plenty of wear left.

Before packing, check that your items:

  • Meet our current brand and category requirements.

  • Are clean and free from stains, damage and strong odours.

  • Meet the condition and resale-value requirements in our acceptance guidelines.

Check our Sell With Us page for the full details. Being wearable doesn't automatically make an item suitable for consignment.

Less Admin. More Wardrobe Space.

You don't need to become a photographer, copywriter and parcel-packing operation to move on clothes you no longer wear.

Circular handles the selling, while your accepted pieces get another chance to be worn and enjoyed.
