Welcome to Circular Clothing Co. (“we,” “our,” or “us”). This Community Conduct & Safety Policy (“Policy”) outlines the standards of behaviour expected from everyone using our marketplace at circularclothingco.com.au (the “Platform”), including buyers, sellers, and community members (“you” or “users”).

By using the Platform, you agree to follow this Policy in addition to our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and any other applicable policies.

Our goal is to maintain a positive, inclusive, and respectful community that reflects Circular’s values of sustainability, integrity, and transparency.

1. Respectful Communication

We believe everyone deserves to interact in a safe and respectful environment.
When using the Platform - including messages, offers, comments, or feedback - you must:

  • Communicate politely and professionally at all times.

  • Treat others with respect, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or ability.

  • Avoid harassment, discrimination, hate speech, or bullying of any kind.

  • Never use threatening, intimidating, or defamatory language.

  • Not share false, misleading, or harmful information about another user or the Platform.

Circular reserves the right to remove comments, messages, or accounts that violate these standards.

2. Harassment, Abuse & Sexual Misconduct

Circular has zero tolerance for harassment or abuse - online or offline. This includes:

  • Unwanted or inappropriate messages or advances.

  • Sexual comments, explicit imagery, or language directed at another user.

  • Attempting to obtain personal contact details or meet offline without consent.

  • Threats, intimidation, or stalking behaviour.

  • Repeated unwanted contact after a transaction is complete.

If you experience or witness harassment, please report it immediately via hello@circularclothingco.com.au or through the Platform’s reporting feature.
Serious incidents may be referred to law enforcement if required.

3. Safety & Privacy

To help protect everyone’s privacy and security, users must not:

  • Share another person’s personal information (e.g., address, phone number, or financial details) without permission.

  • Upload or share photos of others without their consent.

  • Attempt to access or use another person’s account.

  • Engage in phishing, scams, or fraudulent activity.

  • Encourage or facilitate off-platform transactions that bypass the Platform’s protections.

Circular may restrict or terminate accounts where such behaviour occurs.

4. Platform Integrity

To keep the marketplace fair and safe, users agree to:

  • Only list or purchase genuine, legal items in line with our Seller Guidelines.

  • Avoid manipulating reviews, feedback, or transaction data.

  • Never create multiple accounts to mislead others or evade enforcement actions.

  • Avoid any conduct that could harm the reputation or functionality of the Platform.

Circular reserves the right to remove listings, suspend accounts, or take legal action in cases of fraud, deception, or repeated policy violations.

5. Reporting & Enforcement

We rely on our community to help keep Circular safe. If you see behaviour that breaches this Policy, please report it.

You can:

All reports are reviewed confidentially. We may take one or more of the following actions:

  • Issue a warning or temporary restriction.

  • Remove listings, comments, or reviews.

  • Suspend or permanently ban the user.

  • Escalate the matter to law enforcement if required.

False or malicious reporting may itself be considered a breach of this Policy.

6. Off-Platform Conduct

Conduct that occurs outside the Platform may still be considered a violation if it:

  • Involves harassment, abuse, or discrimination toward another user, or

  • Harms the safety or reputation of the Circular community.

We reserve the right to take enforcement action based on credible information from affected users, law enforcement, or verified sources.

We actively monitor for misuse, work with trusted partners to ensure secure transactions, and continuously improve our moderation tools.

We encourage all users to act in good faith, communicate respectfully, and support one another in building a more sustainable fashion future.

Circular Clothing Co. may update this Policy periodically. Any updates will be posted on the Platform, and continued use constitutes acceptance of the latest version.
